  • I loved the experience here. I’m not repulsed by offal, but I’m not a big eater of it so I couldn’t identify what parts were in the hot pot. I could say though that whilst I enjoyed the taste, not all of the textures were to my liking. Champon is a must! Having anticipated it, I let the broth reduce a lot before asking for the noodles to be added. A very liberal amount of sesame seeds was poured on top. The delicious union of flavoursome broth, soft noodles and nutty sesame was bliss. The mentaiko omelette was one of the most unattractive dishes I’ve ever eaten in Japan, but also one of the most delicious. However, you are charged 400 yen per person as a seating fee, and are required to order at least one drink per person. Arriving at 8 pm on a Saturday night, there was a wait of approx 30 min. Service is friendly and an English menu is available.

  • Was recommended, and lived up to reputation. Signature Motsu nabe was just really nice, easy to eat. The motsu is on the chewy side. The waitresses recommendation was to add chili and the green yuzu-pepper paste to the vinegar dip, which was great. Sesame comes plenty on the closer noodles (need to order separately for 2-300¥ or so). Had side dishes horse sashimi which was good and smoked chicken which was ok, next time I’ll stay and focus on the exceptional hot pot!! If needed, English menu available. Only regret - I didn’t get drunk enough ;)

  • Love the soup taste and also adding champon (ちゃんぽん) at the end was perfect.

  • This Motsunabe soup has a light flavor. Motsunabe is a Japanese food that is made from Beef or Pork Tripe.
